TeamZy is a communication and logistics app for sports clubs and teams. This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. TeamZy is built so that each club only ever sees its own data.
Account details you provide: your name, email address and (optionally) phone number. Profile photo, if you add one. Content you create: posts, chat messages, comments, photos, RSVPs, availability and any registration or credential details your club asks for. Club and team information created by admins. A device push token so we can send notifications. Basic technical and usage data needed to run and secure the service.
Some clubs use TeamZy to hold information the law treats as sensitive, and we only ever collect it where you — or a child's parent or guardian — choose to provide it. This can include medical notes (such as asthma, allergies or medication), Medicare number and ambulance cover, emergency contact details, injury and incident records kept by club staff, Working with Children Check details for coaches and volunteers, and whether you consent to appearing in club photos. It is collected so a coach can respond properly in an emergency and so the club can meet its safety obligations. You do not have to provide any of it to use TeamZy.
Medical notes and emergency contacts are visible only to you, your parent or guardian, and club staff — not to other members. Incident reports are visible to club staff only. These limits are enforced by the database itself, not just by what a screen chooses to show. Where someone has not given photo consent, staff are warned before posting photos.
To run your club’s communication — delivering posts, messages, events and notifications; to show club rosters and directories according to your visibility settings; to process payments you choose to make; and to keep the service reliable and secure.
Your information is visible only to members of the club(s) you belong to. Your email and phone are shown to others only per your contact-visibility setting (admins only, your team, or the whole club). We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
We use trusted providers to operate TeamZy: Supabase (secure database, authentication and file storage), Stripe (to process payments for real-world goods and services such as club dues, event fees and merchandise), and Apple/Google/Firebase (to deliver push notifications). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
Data is encrypted in transit. Access is enforced at the database layer so one club cannot read another club’s data, and members cannot read each other’s private information. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by TeamZy.
You can edit your profile, control who sees your contact details, choose your notification level, and block or report other members. You can permanently delete your account and personal data at any time from More → Delete my account.
Youth club members are managed by their parents/guardians or by club admins. Guardians can add and manage children who do not have their own login. Clubs are responsible for how they collect and use youth information, including any Working with Children checks for coaches.
We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your profile and personal data; content you contributed to a club (such as posts or messages) is anonymised so the club’s history stays intact.
If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, we will contain it, tell your club and the people affected, and notify the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date.

You can also delete your account and personal data yourself at any time — see Delete your account.
